Where it came from

Studio Sussex designs and installs signs and displays around the Delaware beaches. When hospitality clients started asking for menu boards they could update themselves — from a phone, mid-service, without calling anyone — the off-the-shelf options were either enterprise-priced per screen, or consumer toys that fell over offline. So we built our own, and it has run live menu boards through real breakfast rushes, power blips, and Wi-Fi outages.

CanvasRelay is that platform, productized: the same editor, the same player reliability engineering, the same linked-data model — rebuilt as a multi-tenant product anyone can use. The model that ran menu boards now runs retail promos, gym schedules, office lobbies, and event screens too.

What we believe

• The price on the page is the whole price. Per screen, per month. No "contact sales" tier for a coffee shop.
• Offline is a requirement, not an edge case. A menu board that blanks when Wi-Fi stumbles is worse than a printed menu.
• Operators edit from phones. Marking an item sold-out takes one thumb and five seconds, not a laptop in the office.
• A free tier should be genuinely useful. One live screen, watermarked — not a 14-day trial in disguise.
