Terms of Service
Effective date: August 18, 2026
1. The service
CanvasRelay provides software to design, schedule, and publish digital signage and menu boards to screens you own or operate.
2. Accounts and organizations
You must provide a valid email and keep your credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account. One person or business may operate one free organization; creating multiple free organizations to avoid paid plan limits is a violation of these terms and may result in suspension.
3. Plans and billing
Paid plans (Creator, Pro, Studio) are billed per screen per month or year via Stripe. You may change or cancel your plan self-serve from Settings → Billing. If payment fails, we retry automatically; after 14 days unpaid, screens revert to the watermarked free view. We never delete your content over non-payment.
3a. Cancellations and refunds
Cancellation stops the next renewal — your paid features keep working until the end of the current paid period, and you can export or delete your data at any time. Payments are non-refundable except where required by law; if we terminate your paid plan without cause, we refund the unused remainder of the current period. For a billing mistake, contact [email protected] within 30 days and we will make it right.
4. Your content
You retain all rights to the content you upload. You grant us the limited license needed to store, process, and deliver it to your screens. You must not upload unlawful, infringing, or harmful content.
5. Acceptable use
No reverse engineering of rate limits or entitlements, no resale of access except under a Managed agreement, no interference with the service.
6. Data export and deletion
You can export your organization data (Settings) and delete your organization or account at any time. Deletion becomes permanent after a 14-day grace period.
7. Liability
The service is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.
8. Termination
We may suspend accounts that violate these terms. You may stop using the service at any time; cancellation is self-serve.
9. Changes
We will email account owners at least 14 days before material changes.
