Fire OS Android flavor
The native Android source has a dedicated fireTv product flavor. It is a hardened WebView shell targeting Fire OS, not a published Amazon Appstore app.

Separate Vega source target
The Vega project is a React Native shell using Amazon's Vega WebView APIs. It is source for SDK builds and device QA, not an Android APK or a Store claim.

Browser widget strategy
Both native shells host the browser renderer, so WebView widgets follow browser compatibility instead of relying on an unimplemented native adapter.

No Store checkout
The native targets are existing-entitlements-only playback clients. They do not expose checkout, pricing links or external upgrade calls to action.

Boards stay portable
The board remains in Canvas Relay. You can validate a browser setup now and move to a tested native package later without rebuilding restaurant menus or other scenes.

01Is a native Canvas Relay app available in the Amazon Appstore?+
No. Native development source exists, but Canvas Relay is not claiming an Amazon Appstore release. On current Fire TV hardware, the public setup path is Amazon Silk or another capable browser.
02Why does Canvas Relay have separate Fire OS and Vega targets?+
Fire OS devices can use the Fire TV flavor of the Android WebView shell. Vega OS is not Android, so it has its own React Native Vega WebView project. One Android APK does not cover both runtimes.
03Can I use Canvas Relay on a Fire TV Stick now?+
Yes through a capable browser route. For unattended use, test autoplay, storage, sleep, reboot and recovery on the exact Fire TV hardware and OS version you will deploy.
