Connect Fire TV

Use the current browser-compatible path and keep Fire OS versus Vega OS separate when evaluating future native-player support.

Fire TV currently uses a browser-compatible Canvas Relay player path. Fire OS and Vega OS are distinct native targets; a browser setup today does not mean a single native APK solves every Fire TV model.

Fire OS browser setup

  1. Open Amazon Silk or another capable browser available on the Fire TV device and visit player.canvasrelay.app.
  2. Enter the player code in Screens → Add screen, name the screen, and assign a board.
  3. Publish and confirm playback on the physical device.
  4. Test the exact model for sleep/browser suspension, restart, and power behavior before relying on it unattended.
If the hardware is a Vega OS model, do not assume Fire OS Android-package behavior. Use only a path explicitly available and tested on that model.
