Connect any web browser

The fastest way to put a board on a TV: open the player URL fullscreen on any laptop, mini-PC, or Chromebox.

Any device with a modern browser can be a CanvasRelay player. This is the zero-install path — ideal for testing, and production-solid on a dedicated machine.

Setup

  1. On the device connected to the TV, open player.canvasrelay.app in Chrome/Edge/Firefox.
  2. Press F11 (or the browser's fullscreen) so the player fills the screen.
  3. Enter the 6-digit code in your dashboard under Screens → Connect a screen and assign a board.
  4. Leave the tab open. The player caches content locally — it keeps playing if the network drops and survives reboots via the browser's local storage.
Set the browser to reopen its tabs on start, and the device to auto-login + launch the browser — the screen then comes back on its own after a power cut.
