Quickstart: account to TV in about 10 minutes

Choose what you want to put on a screen, make a real board, publish it, then follow the setup path for your actual TV/player.

Canvas Relay separates the thing you design (a board) from the screen/player that shows it. You can try the real editor before signup, then connect hardware only when you are ready.

The current setup flow

  1. Create a free account and verify your email, or open /demo first if you want to try the real editor without an account.
  2. Choose what you want to put on a screen: promo/sale, photo slideshow, art/ambient, welcome/event, announcement/information, schedule/classes, menu/price list, video, or blank.
  3. Edit the board. Save protects the draft; Publish creates the complete version that screens can receive.
  4. Open Screens → Add screen and choose the hardware/player you are actually using. Roku beta uses on-device Canvas Relay sign-in; browser, Raspberry Pi, Fire TV compatibility, and Android/Google TV compatibility paths use the pairing-code player flow.
  5. Name/assign the screen and watch setup progress until it reports connected, downloading, then playing. Later board publishes arrive without re-pairing a healthy device.

Try the editor before signup

The /demo page runs the real Canvas Relay editor and lets you switch among promotions, slideshows, art, welcome/event, information, schedules, menus, video, or a blank canvas. Your demo work stays in this browser until you choose to save it to an account.
