Sign-in, password, Google link, or active-session problem
Account settings distinguish session sign-in from API-key access and support password changes, Google linking, session revocation and deletion.
What you may be seeing
- The user cannot access personal Account settings, needs to change/set a password, manage Google, or revoke another session.
What usually causes it
- The shell is connected only with an organization API key rather than a user session.
- Credentials/link token are invalid/expired.
- The account was created through Google and may not have a password yet.
Do this
- For personal Account settings, sign in through the normal login/session flow; an API-key-only connection cannot manage the user account.
- Use Settings → Account to set/change the password, connect/disconnect Google, or revoke non-current active sessions.
- If an email verification/reset link expired or was already used, request a fresh link instead of retrying the old token.
You know it is fixed when
- Settings → Account loads the signed-in profile and the intended password/provider/session change is reflected.
