Turn a TV into an art or ambient display
Use your own Media images or AI-generated artwork in full-bleed scenes while keeping Canvas Relay's normal publish/management controls.
What you may be seeing
- You want a TV to behave like an ambient art/gallery display rather than a menu or announcement board.
What usually causes it
- Canvas Relay can use uploaded or AI-generated images as normal editable media; it does not include a licensed museum-art catalog.
Do this
- Start from the Art / ambient demo example or a photo/art template.
- Upload your artwork to Media or generate a signage-ready image in Relay Assistant. AI output is saved to Media first and is not auto-published.
- Place the image as a full-bleed element or background, choose contain/cover intentionally, and keep overlays minimal if you want a gallery look.
- Publish and assign the board to the TV. For a rotating gallery, use multiple scenes or the slideshow widget instead of flattening the art into a video.
You know it is fixed when
- The artwork fills the intended TV area without unintended cropping and later changes can be published remotely.
Worth knowing
- Only use media you have the right to display. AI-generated media remains a normal Media asset you control.
