Playback / proof-of-play says not shown yet or has old counts
Board Playback is a per-scene proof-of-play report aggregated from paired-player reports; players flush usage periodically rather than on every frame.
What you may be seeing
- Boards → Playback says a scene has not shown yet, or times-shown/last-shown seems delayed compared with the physical TV.
What usually causes it
- Proof-of-play is reported by paired screens and batched/flushed periodically, so it is not a real-time frame counter.
- A scene can have zero reports because no paired screen has actually selected it during the report window.
- An offline player cannot upload new playback events until it reconnects.
Do this
- Open Boards → Playback on the board and check the report's stated time window.
- Confirm at least one paired screen is assigned to the board and has been online long enough to play the scene.
- If a player was offline, restore connectivity and allow its normal reporting/heartbeat cycle to flush pending proof-of-play.
- Use the report for signage confirmation/trends, not as millisecond-real-time monitoring.
You know it is fixed when
- The scene's shown count/last-shown timestamp advances after a paired player actually shows and later reports it.
