Navigate Canvas Relay with the Roku remote
Playback uses OK for boards, Right for Account, and Back to exit; chooser/account screens add Up/Down, OK, Back, and Roku Pay shortcuts.
What you may be seeing
- You need to switch boards, change workspace, sign out, open Roku Pay, return to playback, or exit the app.
What usually causes it
- The signage surface intentionally has minimal permanent chrome, so navigation starts with remote buttons.
Do this
- During playback, press OK for published boards, Right for Account/workspaces, or Back to exit Canvas Relay.
- In the board chooser, use Up/Down to select, OK to assign/play, Right for Account, * for Roku Pay, and Back to return.
- In Account, use Up/Down and OK to choose a workspace or Sign out; Back returns and * opens Roku Pay.
You know it is fixed when
- The selected board resumes playback and remains the default on the next launch.
Worth knowing
- The Options (*) button is not consumed over unobscured native video because Roku reserves it for system behavior; open Roku Pay from a visible chooser/account surface.
