A screen stays on an older release because it is pinned
Release pins are testing overrides: a pinned screen intentionally ignores newer board publishes until it follows latest again.
What you may be seeing
- One screen remains on an older release while other screens on the same board update normally.
What usually causes it
- The device has a pinned release id instead of following the board's latest release.
Do this
- Open Screens and open the affected device's release pin control.
- Choose the follow-latest/unpinned option.
- Allow the player to check in and download the current target release.
You know it is fixed when
- The device no longer shows a pin and its target/feed version converges on the board's latest release.
